Since we spend so much time together, we have terms, jokes or sign languages that only the both of us understand. We think very much alike but I wouldn’t call it telepathy
Do people mistake you for each other, how have you used that to your advantage?
We looked less like each other as we grew older but it was an often occurence when we were in elementary and high school. We don’t switch identities but we did so once when I wanted access to her college library so I used her ID to enter their school premises (with her permission).
Did you ever dress alike?
Yes
Favorite memory together?
Maybe the pandemic. We both had to work from home and we were together 24/7 and we bonded more than ever.
(For Identical Twins) Do you ever do anything to look less alike?
We didn’t like to be similar looking when we were teenagers (teenage angst haha) so we’d have different hair styles
Do you have the same personalities and interests?
Yes, very much.
How do you celebrate your birthdays?
We always celebrate it together and with family. We have a similar circle of friends too so we didn’t need to have separate celebrations.
What was the most embarrassing situation you ever found yourself in because you’re a twin?
Not very embarrassing but I once freaked out/ made a scene while having my blood extracted at the hospital because I was afraid of needles. When my sister had hers extracted too a few months later, they thought she was I lol
Have you struggled with your identity?
Nope, we never lived under each other’s shadow. We are very similar but we know are are our own persons.
Do you sometimes compare yourself to your twin?
Yes, but not in an unhealthy way. My sister is good with her hands so I’d often wonder why I wasn’t.
What effects does being a twin have on your life?
My identity is all about being a twin so it has dictated how I live life really
What are the most annoying things people have said to you about being a twin?
Nothing really. Maybe people trying to figure out who’s better at this or that. But nothing extreme
What’s the biggest fight you’ve ever had with your twin?
When she had her first boyfriend and she somehow “changed” at least from my perspective haha

We relied heavily on each other

We are the closest now

When one of the twins can do something, they expect the other to be able to do the same thing as well
