Me and my wife wanted to, we thought about it when my boy turned 4, but it was already too expensive, both me and my wife worked a lot and we gave up

Oh yes, my mother bugged me for more grandkids until she passed

I guess he feels too overprotected, he’s been trying to get more personal space now that he is a teen, making my wife really upset and they have been fighting a lot

Good, I’m a bit easier to deal with than my wife, less clingy and less helicoptery

I probably wouldn’t be too anxious and too overprotective of him. I’ve been trying to give him more space to learn from his own mistakes, but it’s hard to let go. I guess it would be easier and more natural with more kids
