not as far as I can remember. Our earthquakes are generally small.

good, we aren’t too fussed. Well, decent people aren’t anyway.

yeah, very (I’m gay, never had troubles and feel very accepted)

good enough

meh, our government sucks but our businesses are pretty solid. The government keeps patting itself on the back for the business world’s achievements.

I’d say christmas followed by inddividual feasts. If on a national level only, I’d say christmas followed by holy week followed by imnarja

What bothers you about Malta?
traffic, pollution, general ignorance among the population.
Do you think Malta is the greatest country in the world? If not, what country do you think is the greatest?
It’s pretty great, but I’d say it’s too small to ever be the greatest, there’s just no variety, divergence of opinions etc. No clue which would be the greatest, i remember canada being quite nice when i stayed there a few months
What advice would you like to give someone who would like to live in/visit Malta?
definitely visit…to live here, you need a bit of a zesty personality. Malta does nobody any favours, you need to get what you need yourself.
Which city will you likely recommend to a foreigner to live? And why?
ta’ xbiex, it’s lovely, central, has a bach, restos and beautiful houses. It’s expensive though. If you can’t afford that, gzira, msida and pieta are good alternatives.

eh, read a guidebook lol
What are the biggest misconceptions about Malta?
that’s its like a greek island or italian coastal town. Malta is a sovereign state, with industry, businesses, people going about their daily non-tourism oriented life.

loud, dirty, putting up with political discourse
What are pros of living in Malta?
fun, beautiful places to go to, easy to find entertainment, the govt. puts on a lot of stuff for tourists which we get to enjoy too
If you could relocate, what country would you relocate to?
somewhere torpical, I hate maltese winters
What are interesting facts about Malta?
I guess how long the temples have been there, they’re incredibly old.
What are things that are normal in Malta but may surprise foreigners?
A lot of foreigners find eating rabbit to be strange, for us it’s great. Also not sure what other countries’ attitude towards feral cats is. Here they are cared for and tolerated by the community.
What would you like to say to people living in Malta?
lighten up, it’s not as bad as we make it out to be
What would you like to say to people living elsewhere?
If you do come to Malta please consider staying in low-rise acoommodation, only using deckchairs from operations who don’t occupy whole beaches and eat local.
