No, actually I think that talkative people are the most insecure, who need to feel the cracks with words. My confidence comes and goes

How’s your relationship with your family?
Pretty good. They don’t always understand me, they think I’m lazy and a bit weird, but they love me and I love them

I’m very patient when I’m the one getting targeted, but if someone goes for something/someone I care about I lose it pretty quickly

Sleeping. I automatically get drowsy when I get mad.
How do you feel about physical touch?
I like it a lot, I love hugs, I wish people gave me tighter hugs.
How is your love life?
Didn’t date anyone for my whole adolescence, fell in love last year and was in a relationship for nine months, but we fell apart due to distance for the last three months. We’re still close friends. I’m currently single, experimenting, and not looking for a long-term relationship.
How does introversion affect your love life?
It makes it hard for me to go to people and talk to them, even though I’d really want to. I wish I were one of those people who just walks to someone and says “I love your shoes” but I’m too shy.
What is your love language? What should be your partner’s priority when it comes to caring for you?
I’m a quality time and acts of service person towards others. I especially love making use of my hobbies for my friends, like cooking for them or drawing for them…
As for me, I like to receive also quality time, physical touch and words of affirmation.
What are your thoughts on marriage?
People should go for it if that’s what they want, but personally I don’t think it’s necessary. My parents divorced years ago and it really messed me up, so that probably plays a role in my aversion.
How is your mental health?
Last year I wanted to throw myself into a volcano, but today I’m doing great!
How does introversion affect your career?
Actually it doesn’t, really. I’m a graphic designer, all I need is a computer and an email inbox. Maybe it can make it a bit more awkward for me with certain clients, but nothing much.
In what ways has introversion affected your relationships/friendships negatively?
People make a big deal when I say no to invitations. Which comes from a place of love, I think, since it means they want my company, but they take it too personally. Guys, I just run out of social stamina, it doesn’t mean I don’t like you anymore.
Have you lost opportunities due to introversion?
I can’t really say I have, honestly
What do you think about small talks and chit-chats?
I absolutely, 100% hate small talk. It’s pointless, it’s sterile, and I won’t remember what you’re telling me. But small talk turns into a more interesting conversation, which can be good.
How do you feel about parties?
Parties like a potluck at home and everyone singing off our Spotify playlists and then watch a movie? Sign me up.
Parties with loud music in tight spaces full of strangers and alcohol and creeps? I’d rather die.
How do you feel about your birthday? How do you celebrate birthdays?
I don’ really care for my birthday. I don’t mind having a fun dinner and cake, but I would NEVER ask of people to make a big deal out of it.

Locking myself in my room. Hermit mode.
What are your views about extroverts?
I like extroverts and usually count on them to break the ice between us. But some of them really need to understand that we introverts need to have alone time to feel good.
What’s the most extrovert-y thing you’ve ever done?
Going to a gay sauna and… just… going for it with other guys 😳
Have you ever tried faking extroversion? How did that go?
I do try to be extroverted when I’m stuck with other introverts, because I’m usually the LEAST introverted. Sometimes it works, but when it doesn’t it just falls flat and makes everything ten times more awkward.

How do you deal with confrontation/arguments?
First and foremost, I avoid them as much as possible. If I get caught in an argument, I usually get pretty heated depending on what the argument’s about. It’s usually the aftermath that sucks the most, I’ll let the argument boil inside of my guts for hours after…
How do you deal with pushy people?
If it’s “ok” pushy, I usually give up. If it’s disrespectful pushy, I’ll fend them off immediately

By staying by myself as much as possible before the event, to recharge

I can’ really say I have. I’m not a leader at all.
Do you think that there are few introverts , compared to extroverts?
I think it’s pretty even, but extroverts are louder and therefore make it seem like there’s more
What are the most annoying things people have said to you about being an introvert?
That I’m meek and quiet. No I’m not, I’m actually a nut case, you just haven’t broken the ice deep enough
What did your parents do right and wrong, in raising an introverted child?
My mum was an introvert too so she always understood my needs in that regard. My dad, however, is an introvert AND sporty man, and he’d always push me to do things, going out, hikes, extra-scholastic activities. After years of attempts he finally understood that I’m much more active when I’m the one taking the initiative.
Do you sometimes wish you weren’t an introvert?
Sometimes, if it helped being less awkward with new people.
